LOCATION – How to come?
BY CAR

If you have decided to travel by car there are two possibilities:
Via Zagreb taking the highway to Karlovac, then passing Plitvice, Gračac, Knin, Sinj, Trilj, Makarska, Ploče, and further to the south on the Adriatic Highway.
If you are going to the islands Pelješac or Korčula You have to take a turn off the Adriatic Highway in (a place called) Doli.
You can also choose to take the ferry from Ploče to Trpanj (on Pelješac), and then further to Orebić where you take the ferry to Korčula.
You can also reach the island from Dubrovnik. During the summer season the ferry to Mljet leaves from Trstenik (Pelješac). You can reach Lastovo by a ferry departing from Split via Korčula.

Via Rijeka, on the Adriatic Highway passing Zadar, Šibenik, Split, Makarska, Ploče to the far south.
In Rijeka You can board the ship that stops on the island Korčula and in Dubrovnik, but with the ship it is a 20 hours ride from Rijeka to Dubrovnik.

BY SHIP

Traveling on a ship is more comfortable but the trip will last much longer than the ride by car. But if you are not fond of long driving hours, summer heat and crowds, this is a good choice for you.
There is a ship from Rijeka to Dubrovnik every day. On its way it stops on Korčula so you can choose it to reach Pelješac and Korčula, too.
